PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified) is a copolyester derived from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) with added glycol to improve processing and impact resistance.

The glycol prevents PET from crystallizing during cooling, making PETG amorphous, transparent, and easier to thermoform or 3D print. It combines clarity like acrylic, toughness like polycarbonate, and ease of processing like PLA.
